T-Mobile will reimburse you up to $5,000 if you switch from AT&T or Verizon

T-Mobile has another cute offer if you’re considering replacing your current carrier. The Uncarrier pays your smartphone up to $ 1,000 per line when you switch from its competitors, including Verizon and AT&T.

The new promotion is part of the Keep & Switch program and you can take advantage of it today by bringing your current phone along with a photo of your last bill. You will then receive up to USD 1,000 per line per virtual prepaid MasterCard to settle the balance of your previous mobile operator. If you’re looking to bring your entire family to Magenta, the promotion includes “up to $ 1,000 for each of up to five devices,” plus improved 5G coverage.

Switching is a simple process. First you need to confirm that your phone is eligible, and then you need to view your current payment plan balance for your device. Your discounts will be emailed to you within 15 days.

However, the offer is only valid for a limited number of devices. Many of the best Android phones are eligible, including the Samsung Galaxy S20 series to the Galaxy S8 series and the Galaxy Note 10 series to the Galaxy Note 8 devices. The promotion is compatible with everything from the Google Pixel 2 series through to the Pixel 4 phones as well as Apple’s iPhones. A full list of eligible handsets can be found here.

T-Mobile accepts qualified devices from carriers other than AT&T and Verizon, including Spectrum, Xfinity, US Cellular, Claro and Boost. If you’re looking to switch carriers but don’t want to pay off your current phone, Magenta’s offer isn’t a bad option.
